The 9th Executive Committee Meeting of CCIIP was successfully held in Beijing

On December 11,2015, the 9th Executive Committee Meeting of China Council for International Investment Promotion(CCIIP) was successfully held in Beijing Capital Hotel.

On the morning section, Ms. Zhou Ming, the Executive Vice President and Secretary General of CCIIP hosted the opening ceremony. Mr. Miao Gengshu, President of CCIIP delivered an address first, sharing the progress of CCIIPs investment promotion work under the leadership of the Ministry of Commerce and with the cooperation of member enterprises and institutions. Mr. Liu Haiquan, Assistant Minister of Ministry of Commerce delivered a keynote speech at the meeting, making an analysis of the both-way investment situation and giving important guidance and advice to CCIIPs future work. Mr. Li Zuojun, Vice-Director-General of Research Institute for Resources and Environment Policies of Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), lectured on main content of The thirteenth Five-Year Plan and the economic trend in 2016. Mr.Meng Xiangming, Project Director of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) Center of Ministry of Finance introduced policies and trends of PPP investment in China. In the afternoon, Ms. Zhou Ming reported CCIIPs Work Summary of 2015, work plan of 2016 and also briefed the preparatory work for the Second Member Representative Assembly of CCIIP to be held next year.

Then, all the participating directors and members had a discussion and proposed good advice on the investment promotion work and the business operation of CCIIP in the next stage, according to their own work and demand. Apart from these, the meeting examined and approved Regulations on the Management of Branch Institutions of CCIIP, Regulations on the Management of Representative offices of CCIIP and advised the revision of Requlations on the Collection&Management of Membership Fees of CCIIP.

Nearly 100 representatives from IPAs, member enterprises of CCIIP and other associated companies and industry associations attended the meeting, which has achieved excellent results.
