The “Central China Business Summit 2012” was held in Changsha city

The “Central China Business Summit 2012” was held in Changsha city, Hunan province on May 18th, 2012. The seventh Summit was themed “Opening Up for Green Development”, and more than 1000 guests from both home and abroad attended Summit. Member of the CPC’s Central Political Bureau and Vice Premier of China Mr. Wang Qishan attended the Summit and delivered a speech. Vice Minister of Commerce Mr. Wang Chao presided for the first session of the Summit. Former President of Mexico Mr. Vicente Fox Quesada and Deputy Director of the National development and Reform Commission Mr. Xie Zhenhua gave addresses for the event.

Member of the CPC’s Central Political Bureau and Vice Premier of China Mr. Wang Qishan attended the Summit and delivered a speech.

The second session of the Summit was presided over by Mr. Chen Weihong from CCTV. Governor of Hunan province Mr. Xu Shousheng, Governor of Shanxi province Mr. Wangjun, Governor of Anhui Province Ms. Li bin, Governor of Jiangxi province Mr. Lu Xinshe, Governor of Henan province Mr. Guo Gengmao, and Vice Governor of Hubei Province Mr. Guo Youming exchanged ideas on how to expand the opening up in the central region, as well as to strengthen cooperation and promote the development of industries such as the low-carbon and green industry. The dialogues and exchanges received good responses from the audiences.
